Expectations for Members

Acceptance of membership in the St. Thomas More Society represents a personal commitment to the present and future success of our mission.  Members can support the St. Thomas More Society in many critical ways, including, but not limited to, serving on subcommittees, making financial contributions, providing access to personal and professional networks, sharing specialized expertise, and building a community of goodwill and fellowship.

Subcommittees

We welcome all members to serve on at least one subcommittee.

Member Participation

Members are encouraged to attend as many St. Thomas More Society events as possible.  Members are also encouraged to attend Mass on the first Friday of each month, which is followed by breakfast at the Wilmington Club.  Members are strongly encouraged to invite friends and associates as guests whenever they attend public events hosted by the St. Thomas More Society.

Dues

Members are expected to pay annual dues ($50.00) ($25.00 of which goes to fund the Msgr. Paul J. Taggart scholarship fund) or pay for a lifetime membership ($500).    In addition, members are encouraged to support the Good Works Committee by either volunteering their time or by making a financial contribution.
